Schade in 1997 whom she married on June 10, 1944. Marie resided in Listowel since 1973 and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Monkton where she taught Sunday School for a number of years. She was also a volunteer knitter for the Listowel Cradle Club for many years.
