Leone Duncan

February 15, 1933 to November 26, 2018

born February 15, 1933 and raised in Maryborough Township, Leone passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor, Sebringville on Monday November 26, 2018 in her 86th year. Leone enjoyed collecting photos of family and doing puzzles. For many years, she worked with her parents on the family farm. Leone was a very special aunt to her many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Beloved daughter of the late Ewart and Hazel (Gibb) Duncan. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Doreen Seguin, Doris Illman (Rev. David), Marlene McHarg (Hartley), Joyce Hansen (Bob), Brian Duncan, Lois Duncan, Ken O’Grady and Peter Geertsma. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and the extended Stacey family. Predeceased by her longtime companion Bill Stacey in 2001, sisters Velma Carruthers, Alma O’Grady, Marjorie Geertsma, brothers Glen, Ross and Colin, brother-in-law Gilbert Seguin and sister-in-law Mildred Duncan. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Thursday November 29 from 5-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday November 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Colin Snyder officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
