Clarence Walters

It is with great sadness but also great hope in Jesus that we share the passing of Clarence Bertram Walters on Thursday November 29, 2018 surrounded by family at Spruce Lodge, Stratford in his 84th year. He was born on July 13, 1935 in Eston, Saskatchewan. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Faulhafer) Walters for 58 years. Loving father of Dale, Lynn and Jim Cox, Karyn and Bruce Cox, Steve and Cathy, Janet Conners, Kim and Warren Haasnoot. Special grandfather of Matthew Cox (Carmen), Jennifer Drudge (Andrew), Kara Greydanus (Jason), Kaylan Ssenfuma (Joseph), Danielle Sparkes (Adam), Jackson Cox, Ashley Walters (Jon Haynes), Katherine Walters, Corey Conners (Malory), Nicole Conners (Jon Hunsberger), Sarah Conners (Doug Dyce), Jaimie Haasnoot and Mara Haasnoot. Great-grandpa of Addison, Eleanor, Trinity, Makenna, Sophie, Phoenix, Mariska, Hunter, Jakob, Liam, Kamden, Raelynn, Abigail, Enoch, Korbin, Brixton and Crewz. Brother of Bill (Barb), Helen Aubin, Mel (Dianne) and Glen (Louise) and brother-in-law of Anne Walters. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and the extended Faulhafer family. Predeceased by his parents Bertram and Wilhelmina (Tippe) Walters, siblings Dorothy Finkbeiner (Maurice), Wilmer, Robert, brother-in-law Andre Aubin and foster child Kipling. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at Listowel Evangelical Missionary Church, 1205 Tremaine Ave. S., Listowel on Tuesday December 4, 2018 from 12 to 1:45 p.m. followed by the funeral service to celebrate Clarence’s life at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Wood and Pastor Dan Desilest officiating.
