passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at the age of 70. Bill had a passion for horses, enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Son of the late James Petrie and the late Muriel (Buchanan) Petrie. Brother of Donna Patterson (Jim), Ken Petrie, Maureen Houston (Vince Bergin) and Bob Petrie. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins and his special friend Sue Raynard. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Deanna Petrie. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A casual gathering to celebrate Bill's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Listowel on Saturday December 1, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. Interment in Donegal Cemetery at a later date.
