    July 16, 1916 to December 21, 2009 Myrn Rock passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Monday December 21, 2009 at the age of 93. She was born in Ellice Township, a daughter of the late George and Annie (Kercher) Diehl. Myrn was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Monkton where she taught Sunday School and was caretaker of the church for 10 years. She had a special gift of remembering birthdays and anniversaries. Beloved wife of the late John Rock who predeceased her in 1981. Loving mother of Ray and Margaret of RR #2 Atwood, John and Barbara of Stratford, Mark H. and Kathy of Atwood and Joel and Marilyn of Woodstock. Special grandma of Matthew and Angie, Cheryl and Allan, Kathleen and Rob, Donald, Tim and Heather, Janel and Bill, David, Michelle and Marcel, Amanda, Naomi, April, Angela and Steve, Jennifer, Rachel, Kayla and great grandma of 16 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Fondly remembered by her sister Florence Bartja of Mitchell, her brother George and his wife Isabel Diehl of Stratford, sisters-in-law Eva Rock of Listowel, Beatrice Rock of Waterloo and Della Rock of Mitchell.     December 30, 1937 to December 10, 2009 Joyce passed away suddenly at University Hospital, London on Thursday December 10, 2009. She resided in Atwood and was born 71 years ago in Blanchard Township, a daughter of the late Stanley and Elsie (Houck) Telfer. Joyce was a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church where she was a valued choir member. She often blessed the community with her musical talents. Joyce was also a member of the Atwood Lioness Club and volunteered with the Meals on Wheels program. Joyce was the beloved wife of Cor Schalk whom she married in 1957; the loving mother of Debbie McIntosh of Listowel, Joanne Schalk of Mississauga, Jeff Schalk of Listowel; and the special grandma of Luke and Dylan. She was the dear sister of Shirley Johnston of Listowel, Inez Hill of Fergus, Bruce Telfer of Kitchener and Marie and Norman Bell of Milverton. Joyce will be fondly remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Willa Ament, Gerard and Edith Schalk all of Listowel, Bill Lucas of Atwood, Ken Wenzel of Palmerston and by many nieces & nephews. He took great pride in the seven violins that he crafted and enjoyed playing them in the Country Cousins along with his wife Anne and friends Larry Smith and Garnet Smith. He was born 84 years ago in Elma Township, a son of the late Lloyd and Marjorie (Sproule) Hamilton. Don was the owner of Don Hamilton Real Estate and Insurance. He was a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church where he served as Elder and on the Board of Managers. Don was a former Elma Township School Board Trustee and former member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows Atwood Lodge No. 332. He was also a Rotarian member and a member of the Listowel Masonic Lodge No. 225 A.F. & A.M. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Blough) Hamilton with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Loving father of Sharon and Jim Vance of RR #1 Monkton, Doug and Lynne of RR #1 Atwood, Wayne and Wilma of Listowel, Barb and John Cressman of RR #2 Listowel and Joe and Dale DeBruyn of Fort McMurray Alberta. He resided in Atwood and was born 83 years ago in Elma Township, a son of the late Clinton and Myrtle (Adams) Mann. Brother of Anne and her husband Ted Bennett of Cambridge and Ethel Geiger of Listowel. Fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Winnifred Mann of RR #2 Listowel, Eileen Mann of RR #1 Listowel, many nieces and nephews and the Gill family. Predeceased by his sisters Ruth and her husband Joe Halerich, Marion and her first husband Chris Thedorff and her second husband Stan Lennox, his brothers Charles Mann and Harry Mann, and brother-in-law Graham Geiger. In keeping with Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral home visitation or service. She resided in Monkton and was born 42 years ago in London, a daughter of the late Garry and Connie (Clarke) Robinson. Sandee was a past president of the Monkton Figure Skating Club, enjoyed camping, spent many hours making crafts, scrapbooking and had a passion for her career of hairdressing. She was a wonderful party planner and decorator for all occasions and seasons. Beloved wife of Calvin Subject whom she married in 1991. Wonderful loving mom of Daniel and Kelsey. Annie was the beloved wife of the late Jack Sanders who predeceased her in 1986; the loving mother of Cam and Joanne Sanders of Newry and the late Cheryl (2006) and David (1983) Markle. She was the special grandmother of Jason and Donna Markle of Barbados and their children Ariana and Sierra; Geoffrey and Maria Markle of Barbados and their children Scott and Adam; Christopher and Marie Markle of Australia; Ryan and Jackie Sanders of Wroxeter and their children Paige and Tayt; and Carrie Sanders and Matt Gardner of Cambridge and their son Fischer. She will also be remembered by her sisters Marion Wood of Stratford, Shirley Rea of Listowel, her brother Len and his wife Bernie Campbell of Kitchener, sisters-in-law Charlotte Stecho, Peggy Clarke, Mary Matlock all of Kitchener and by many nieces & nephews.
