Nancy passed away peacefully at her residence Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton on Thursday March 13, 2008. She was born 98 years ago in Logan Township, a daughter of the late John and Maud (McNaught) Melville. Nancy was a former member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Monkton where she received the distinction as a life member of the Women's Missionary Society of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. She was a past member of the Monkton Chapter of the Rebekah Lodge. Beloved wife of the late John Boyd who predeceased her in 1959. Loving mother of Jim and Jean of Listowel, Bill and Shirley of Point Clark, Carolyn Yundt of Stratford, Larry and Jane of Miller Lake, Pat and Marie of Sauble Beach. Special grandma of 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also remembered by her daughter-in-law Lois Boyd-Mueller and her husband Bob of Monkton. Predeceased by her son Jack, son-in-law Ron Yundt, her sister Laura and great granddaughter Nealie. Nancy's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home 141 John Street, Atwood, on Saturday March 15, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Alan Barr officiating. Spring interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
