Margaret Belle (nee Leake) Brown passed away peacefully at her residence in Royal Terrance Nursing Home, Palmerston on Saturday April 27, 2013 at the age of 98. Margaret was formerly of Monkton where she was a faithful member of Knox Presbyterian Church. She will be fondly remembered for her love of gardening and needlework. Beloved wife of the late Howard Brown who predeceased her in 1978. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Benson and Georgeina (Lawson) Leake and her brother Dr. Lawson Leake and his wife Marion. Visitation will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Monkton, on Thursday May 2, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Sarah Thompson officiating. Interment in North Logan Cemetery, Monkton.
