Barton, James (Jim) December 13, 1925 to May 18, 2013 The Massey tractor stands quiet as Jim Barton of Atwood has taken his final drive, passing away at Listowel Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family on May 18, 2013 at the age of 87. Jim was a passive man who loved to tinker in his shop rebuilding cars, tractors, and making anything old new again. He enjoyed spending time with family and special great grandchildren at the Point Clarke cottage telling long stories of past times. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Johnson) Barton whom he married in 1949. Loving father of Elizabeth Long of RR1 Elmwood and Lois Robertson of Atwood. July 10, 1933 to May 14, 2013 Don Hamilton of Listowel formerly of Kitchener, passed away peacefully with family by his side at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday May 14, 2013 at the age of 79. Don opened his heart to many people. This was shown by his ten years of volunteering to drive patients to and from their many appointments for the Canadian Cancer Society. He became a good friend to many. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (Martin) Hamilton who predeceased him in 2007. February 5, 1958 to February 6, 2013 Barry Hamilton, of Ottawa, formerly of Listowel and Trowbridge, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday February 6, 2013 one day after his 55th birthday. Barry was a former member of the Listowel Volunteer Firefighters. He was a fan of hockey and baseball taking part as a player, coach and umpire. Barry, known as Coon to his family and friends, enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, cooking and listening to the oldies. Loving father of Brent Hamilton and Rebecca Stiller of Toronto, Jessica Hamilton and Zach Martin of Listowel.
