June 23, 1956 to November 25, 2020 Miriam Martin – formerly of Atwood, passed away peacefully at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton on Wednesday November 25, 2020 in her 65th year. She was a faithful member of Donegal Mennonite Fellowship where she served as pastor’s wife. Miriam faithfully taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, was a good friend to so many and a Godly woman who loved the Lord. Beloved wife of Paul Martin for 42 years. Cherished mom of Heidi (Bryan) Zehr, Renita Martin, Becky (Roger) Biehn, David (Marie) Martin, and Emily Martin. Special grandma to Isaac, Jody, Kayla, Nigel, Adam, Monica, Caleb and Olivia Zehr, Danielle Biehn and Dylan Martin. Survived by her mother Viola Martin, her brothers Ken and his wife Doreen, Ron and his wife Fern, mother-in-law Adina Martin, her in-laws James and Martha, Arlene and Lawrence, and Carol Martin. Fondly remembered by 12 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Eugene Martin and father-in-law Aaron Martin. August 31, 1927 to November 15, 2020 Marjorie Tucker – passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Sunday November 15, 2020 at the age of 93. Marjorie was a former By-Law Enforcement Officer for the Region of Waterloo, a former employee of CKCO-TV Kitchener, a former member of the Atwood U.C.W. and was an avid Blue Jays fan. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Mary Fortune, brother-in-law Clarence Johnston and many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents Eldon and Mary (Eadie) Renwick, her daughter Denise in infancy, her sister Donna Johnston and her first husband Cecil Horton, and her brother Walter Renwick. In keeping with Marjorie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held in McIntosh Cemetery in the spring. Beloved son of Seth and Charlene (Streicher) Kuepfer. Dear brother of AvaLynn and Ryan Kuepfer. Cherished grandson of James and Marie Streicher and Manuel and Ruth Anne Kuepfer. Great grandson of Ruth Kuepfer and Enoch and Mary Streicher. Fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles Ronald (Rhoda), Merlin (Kathy), Kristene (Richard), Joseph, Lydiann (Samuel), Jake, Ada, Maribeth and seven cousins. Sadly missed by his Sick Kids family. Mother of Jennyfer Simpson (Fred Moffat), Hugh (Lana) Simpson, Christine Simpson (Michael Sesto) and Victoria Simpson. Grandmother of Amy Simpson, Stephanie Simpson-Yates (Tyler), Candice Simpson, Fred Moffat (Jenn), Schuyler Moffat and great-grandmother of James, Kate and Peyton. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and best friends Joyce McLaughlin and Shirley Linton. Janet was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents John and Mabel (Schade) Partridge, sisters Wilma (Clarence) Connelly, Marion (Ken) McNaught, and brothers Leonard (Doris) Partridge and John (Dallas) Partridge. June 17, 1952 to September 30, 2020 Leslie (Les) Stewart – of Ethel, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday September 30, 2020 at the age of 68. Les enjoyed spending his time raising chickens and selling the meat and eggs, doing home renovations and tending his flowerbeds. He drove transport truck for 42 years and volunteered with the Ethel Firefighters breakfast and Ethel Public School flipping pancakes. Les enjoyed playing baseball and helping with various ball tournaments. Les and his wife Jane entertained many children as Santa and Mrs. Claus for the last three years at the Ethel Hall. Beloved husband of Jane (Pfeiffer) Stewart, with whom he celebrated 30 years of marriage on September 1st. Loving father of Lindsay (Tyler) Gingrich and Lauren (Rob) Gray. Special papa of Levi and Jackson. Brother-in-law of Mike (Debbie) Pfeiffer. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Donnie, Jeff, Vincent, Holly (Matt) and Tom (Dana). Jake was employed as a Material Services Administrator at Dyna-mig Manufacturing. He was a Senior Deacon of the Stratford Masonic Lodge No. 332 AF & AM and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. Jake enjoyed golfing and spending time with his Lodge family in Canada and Cuba. Dear brother of Nicole and Amanda and uncle of Cyleena and Brittny. Son of David Schmidt. Fondly remembered by his step-father Gary Carpenter and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his mother Lynda Pestell and his grandparents Jack and Lillian Pestell. Norma was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church. Before her retirement, Norma worked for many years at Country Meadows Retirement Home, Brunner. She enjoyed crocheting, games, puzzles and watching the Toronto Blue Jay games. Most of all Norma cherished the time spent with her family. Beloved wife of the late Murray Nafziger who predeceased her in 2008. Loving mother of Neil (deceased 2012), Earl (Jan), Bernice (Paul) Albrecht, Paul (Cheryl), Walter (Tracey) and Wanda (Andrew) Ropp. Special grandma of Nicole, Stephanie, Michael (friend Courtney), Mallory (John) and their children Madison, Aliyah and Isaiah; Melissa (Aaron), Michelle (Derek), Jessica (friend Chris), Sarah (friend Seth), Jamie, Ryan, Holly, Darryn, Janelle (Jaylon), Brad (friend Kayla), Alayna, and Ellyce. March 15, 1951 to August 27, 2020 Dianne Mae (Knoblauch) Rellinger – formerly of Milverton and Listowel, passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth on Thursday August 27, 2020 at the age of 69. Dianne worked for many years at Cooper Standard Automotive in Stratford and retired in 2011. She was a volunteer with North Perth Hospice for a time. Dianne enjoyed reading and the time spent with her family. She loved travelling and camping over many years. Dianne was born in New Hamburg on March 15, 1951, a daughter of the late Almon and Annie Mae (Ropp) Roth. She is survived by her sister Shirley (Herb) Wagler, brothers Ervin and Ed Roth, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Brenda Roth, Wayne (Mary Lou) Knoblauch, Richard (Glenda) Knoblauch and Lorna Knoblauch. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
