Esther Kropf

October 3, 1925 to November 26, 2016

Esther Kropf – passed away peacefully at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton with her family by her side on Saturday November 26, 2016 at the age of 91. Esther was a member of Poole Mennonite Church where she was a former member of the ladies Sewing Circle. She enjoyed working as a Home Care worker in the Waterloo area for many years. Esther also enjoyed crocheting and quilting and loved spending time at their trailer at Miller’s Family Camp at Miller Lake. Beloved wife of Ralph Kropf with whom she celebrated 69 years of marriage on November 9th. Loving mother of Karen Schultz (Robert), Larry (Debbie), Bruce (Donelda) and Terry Lynn Gropp (Bruce). Cherished grandma of Julie White (Ron) and their children Lexi and Dawson; Mark Schultz (Henrietta) and their children Zach and Chloe; Stephanie Kearsey (Mark) and their children Quinn, Koen and Saige; Samantha King (Mark) and their children Addyson and Gavyn; Amanda Wagler (Eric) and their son Miles; Anthony Kropf; Eric Kropf and step grandchildren Hillis, Damon and Shane Halbert. Dear sister of Laura Kipfer and sister-in-law of Margaret Henning. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Eli and Nancy (Nafziger) Roes, grandson Andrew Kropf, sister Emma Steckley (Raymond Gerber, Amos Steckley), brothers Alvin Roes (Marie), David Roes (Mildred), brothers-in-law Alfred Kipfer, Albert Henning, Stanley Kropf (Jean), Eldon Kropf (Janet) and Delford Kropf. Visitation will be held at Poole Mennonite Church, 6475 Road 121, Poole, on Wednesday November 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday December 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Brnjas officiating. Interment to follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
