  • Erlme Anne Fisher

    August 22, 1935 to April 19, 2014 Erlme Anne Fisher passed away quietly at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 19, 2014 at the age of 78. Erlme was a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church and the Women's Missionary Society. She taught school in Howick Township, Carrick Township, Maryborough, City of Brampton and at the Midwestern Regional Centre for many years. Erlm's stories and love of her very good friends will be missed. Erlme was the daughter of the late Clifford and Isobel (Dixon) Stewart. She was predeceased by her brother Alex in infancy, her brother Beverley and nephew Sean. At Erlm's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Atwood Presbyterian Church on Friday April 25, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Thompson officiating. Interment in Clifford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to acknowledge Erlme's life are asked to make a donation to a charity of one's choice.     July 27, 1978 to September 11, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of Jennifer announces her passing on Sunday September 11, 2011 at the age of 33. Jennifer resided in Stratford and was formerly of Monkton. She was a member of the Poetry Table of Stratford where she wrote and published her stories and poems. Jennifer was the secretary of Feline Friends Network of Stratford, volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society and was an avid theatre patron. Beloved daughter of Ray Gallant of Gorrie and Karen Gallant of Walkerton. Dear sister of Jason Kaufman of Hanover, Julie Gallant of Wingham, Ali Gallant and Madison Gallant both of Teeswater.     December 17, 1936 to June 20, 2011 Marion Flynn, of Listowel, formerly of Atwood, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday June 20, 2011 at the age of 74. Marion was a member of St. Alban's and St. David's Anglican Church, Atwood. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Perth Chapter No.69 and an honorary member of the Order of the Eastern Star Peace Chapter Palmerston. Beloved wife of the late Keith Flynn who predeceased her in 2006. Loving mother of Doug and Joan Flynn of Kitchener and Diane Marshall of RR2 Gorrie. Special grandma of Melanie and John, Kendra, Jonathan, Douglas, Michael and great-grandma of Owen, Keegan, Chloe and Tyson. Dear sister of David Lupton, Jean Vannatter, Mary McWilliam and friend Bruce, Betty Konarski and friend Glen, and Jim Lupton all of Stratford and sister-in-law of Bev and Lloyd Elliott of Mitchell. Fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews. Missed by his nieces and nephew Margaret Anne Buchanan, Marilyn Mitchell, Robert Leslie, Jean Hurst and cousins Lloyd and Glen Hurst. Fondly remembered by Audrey Wilson.     June 12, 1930 to May 28, 2009 Maree passed away peacefully at her home in Woodstock on Thursday May 28th, 2009 in her 79th year. Maree was formerly of Atwood and a was member of Atwood Presbyterian Church where she had served on Session, taught Sunday School and enjoyed Craft Club. She taught kindergarten for over 37 years and will be remembered for her wonderful story telling ability which she shared with many schools, clubs, church groups and nursing homes. Maree was a member of Donegal Women's Institute, a former Atwood Lioness and a volunteer canvasser for many charities. She also served on the North Perth PARCC Board. Much loved mother of Layne (Tom) of Parksville BC, Ed (Sheila) of Listowel, Curtis (Janice) of Woodstock, Fraser (Linda) of Listowel and daughter-in-law Cathy of Atwood. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Mark, Cari (Brandon), Liam, Beau, Janice (Dwayne), Jenny, Kelly, Johnny, Jared, Andrea, Veronica, Taylor and Carter, great-grandchildren Cole, Karly and Kaitlyn and her sister-in-law Vicki Wall of Listowel. Predeceased by her parents Kurt and Elnorah (Ludwig) Wall, step-mother Marjorie Wall and her brother Jerry Wall.     March 25, 1953 to December 26, 2009 Ken McLean passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday December 26, 2009. He resided in Monkton and was born 56 years ago in Brussels, a son of the late Ian and Blanche (Oppenhauser) McLean. Ken was a member of Monkton United Church and the Monkton Lion's Club. He enjoyed playing on the Monkton Wildcats hockey team and in the Monkton fastball league. Dear brother of Bob and Brenda McLean of Monkton and Patricia and Ed Martin of Prince Edward Island. Special uncle of Chris and Trisha McLean and their son Braedon, Kevin and Tammy McLean and their daughter Hailey, Kyle McLean and friend Megan Runhart, Corey McLean and friend Katie Gascho and step-uncle of Tracy and Cam Richardson. Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins. In keeping with Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Velma Carruthers, Doreen Seguin, Leone Duncan, Doris (David) Illman, Marlene (Hartley) McHarg, Joyce (Bob) Hansen and her brothers, Ross (Lois) Duncan and Brian Duncan. Also survived by her brother-in-law Ken O'Grady of Listowel and several nieces and nephews.
