Helen Agnus Hamilton

April 7, 1941 to April 29, 2011

Helen Hamilton of Wiarton, passed away suddenly as a result of a fire at her residence on Friday April 29, 2011 at the age of 70. Helen was formerly of Atwood, a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church and on the Ladies Auxiliary of the Boy Scouts. She volunteered at church functions, loved traveling and all her time spent at the cottage while her family was growing up. Helen always did any task to the best of her ability. Beloved wife of Barry Hamilton whom she married in 1959. Loving mother of Julie Hamilton of Brussels, Rob and Leanne, Scott and Leanne all of Atwood, Kimberley Hamilton of Millbank. Special Nana of Kelly and Mike, Kendra, Justin and Amanda and their son Keegan, Josie and Matt, Alicia, Stephanie, Cassandra, Destiney & Dan, Shelby, Dylan and Sydney. Dear sister of Mary and Ray Roberge of Quebec. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Alberta (Berlett) Robertson and her great granddaughter Anniston Guy. Helen's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Wednesday May 4, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at the Atwood Presbyterian Church on Thursday May 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. George Russell and Rev. Andrew Thompson officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
