September 20, 1926 to October 8, 2014 Florence Broughton of Listowel, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday October 8, 2014 at the age of 88. Florence was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, Perth Star Rebekah Lodge No. 331, Loyal True Blue Lodge No. 415 Trowbridge and the Wallace Women's Missionary Society. She will be remembered by many as the person who was always there for anybody who needed help. Beloved wife of the late Bill Broughton who predeceased her in 1981. Sister-in-law of Gwen, Pearl, Dorothy, Millie, Helen, Lottie, Georgina and Bob, Ivan and Joyce. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Florence was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents Edward and Anna (Krotz) Fischer, siblings Roy, June, Carrie all in infancy, Elsie, Arthur, Una, Julius, Milton, Norma, Howard, Gladys and Lawrence. Henry was an all around outdoors man enjoying hunting, riding his ATV, cutting wood in the bush and puttering around Monkton on his golf cart. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Wourms) Stolz who predeceased him in 2004. Loving father of Stan and Glenda Stolz, Stella and Calvin Haug, and Dianne and Jason Heilman. Special grandpa of Derick, Nicholas, Tyler and Jen and their daughter Mia, Nathan, Michael, Daniel, Shannah, and Michael. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Henry was the last surviving member of his family, being predeceased by his parents Joseph and Katherine (Etienne) Stolz, one brother and four sisters. Predeceased by his children Mary and Joseph in infancy. June 17, 1921 to August 16, 2014 Stuart Peebles formerly of Atwood, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on August 16, 2014 at the age of 93. Stuart resided at Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell with his beloved wife Jean whom he married in 1958. He was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Monkton, a life member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge No. 332 and a former member of the Atwood Men's Chorus. Stuart was an avid gardener specializing in growing roses, did many free-hand drawings and paintings of nature scenes and loved doing crossword and word search puzzles. He served in the Reserves during World War II. Survived by his wife Jean (Yeoman) Peebles. Loving father of Doug Peebles, Mary and Stephen Reed, Moira and Trevor Barnes, Muriel Vandepol and Paul Coupe, Les and Lori Peebles. Special grandpa of Brian Peebles and Stacey Fletcher, Russ Peebles, Jen Peebles and Ken Buck, Natasha Reed and Nick Tuskan, Nigel Reed, Alycia Reed, Danica Barnes and Aaron Ogunsanya, Nathan Barnes, Nicole Vandepol and Kevin Andrew, Brett Vandepol, Megan Peebles and great-grandpa of Damian, Evelyn, Dominic and Mackenzie. Hilda was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Listowel. She was a member of the Dorcas Group of Christ Anglican Church until they disbanded in 2005 and a former member of North Star Circle. Hilda was an avid gardener, card player and euchre champion. She received many first place ribbons at local fairs for her quilts. Hilda enjoyed all the time spent with her family. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Holmes who predeceased her in 1986. Loving mother of Marjorie Palmer of Richmond Hill and Reta Cunningham of Walkerton.
