Allan Hiusser of Gorrie passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday August 17, 2014 at the age of 61. Allan will be remembered as a singer/songwriter of country music and his playing and singing will be greatly missed by his family. Beloved partner and best friend of Helene Lannin. Loving father of Phillip and Andrea Hiusser, James and Ashley Hiusser, Amy and Brian Weppler and step-father of Tracy and Brady Werth, and Tammy McDonald. Step grandfather of Brooklyn, Keenan, Sarah and Erich. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Patricia Wick, Debbie Hiusser, Mona and Waldemar Betker, Ila and John Scherer, Mary Hiusser, Bonnie and Mack Hutchison. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and Elaine Hiusser. Predeceased by his parents Ervin and Annie (Feltz) Hiusser, his brothers Ivan, Gerald and Barry, brother-in-law Larry Wick and sister-in-law Helen Subject. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Tuesday August 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Allan's life will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 505 Wallace Ave N., Listowel on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
