    January 25, 1910 to April 2, 2009 Pieternel passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday April 2, 2009. She resided at RR #2 Atwood and was born 99 years ago in The Netherlands, a daughter of the late Adriaan and Adriana (DeRuiter) Beenhakker. Pieternel was the beloved wife of the late Jacobus Sinke who predeceased her in 1979 and the loving mother of Jan (John) Sinke of RR #2 Atwood and Adriaan Sinke of RR #1 Monkton. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Corrie Sinke, two sisters and one brother. As per Pieternel's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will take place in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood at a later date. Marie was a member of Atwood United Church where she enjoyed quilting with the UCW. She was a former 4-H leader, a member of the Maple Leaf W.I. and the Atwood Chapter of the Rebekah Lodge No. 343. Beloved wife of the late Earl Liebrock who predeceased her in 1994. Loving mother of Frances and Doug Button of Teeswater, Donald Liebrock of Putnam, Kathryn and Robin McCabe of Richmond BC.     November 19, 1942 to June 5, 2008 Carol passed away suddenly at her residence in Atwood on Thursday, June 5, 2008 while recuperating well from recent knee surgery. She was born 65 years ago in Elma Township a daughter of the late Alvin and Ferne (McNichol) Matheson. Carol was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel. She has traveled widely with her husband Dick, touring many US states and most of Canada. They were members of the Kamping Kings, presently serving as directors. Carol was the beloved wife of Richard (Dick) Thompson whom she married in 1959; the loving mother of Reg and Judy of Ilderton, Rod and Sue of Listowel, Laurie and friend Mark Stephenson of Moonstone; special grandma of Jordan, Reid, Rebecca, Kirsten, Riley and Taylor. She was the dear sister of Calvin and Deborah Matheson of Wingham and Brad and Carla Matheson of Listowel. Carol will be remembered by her mother-in-law Vera Thompson of Listowel, sisters-in-law Elizabeth Thompson of Listowel, Barb McCorquodale of RR1 Atwood and by many nieces & nephews. Carl and his wife Joanne were the owners and operators of CJ Truck and Auto Parts Ltd. He was a member of the Central Ontario and the Great Lakes Tractor Pullers Associations. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family at the cottage. His family considered him to be the luckiest gambler in Ontario. Beloved husband of Joanne (Conforti) Subject who he was married to for over 40 years. Loving father of Paul and Laurie, Linda and Tim all of RR2 Brussels, Loretta and Jason of RR4 Stratford and Cheryl of Sydney NS. Special grandpa of 10 grandchildren. Roy was born on September 24, 1927 in Woolwich Township, a son of the late Emerson and Addie (Otterbein) Krauter. After 39 years of employment at Uniroyal General Products, Roy and his wife Marie moved to Londesborough in 1986 to enjoy their retirement. He spent many hours doing puzzles and games of any kind and enjoyed riding his bicycle around Paul Bunyan Park. Beloved husband of Marie (Douglas) Krauter whom he married in 1961. Loving father of Kevin Krauter and Diane McPhail of Apex, North Carolina and Kimberley Elliott and Chris Click of Allen, Texas. Cherished granddaughter of Glen and Jo-Anne Hurst of Newry and great-granddaughter of Thomas and Annette Herrgott of St. Clements.     September 2, 1927 to December 30, 2009 Arend passed away unexpectedly at Guelph General Hospital on Wednesday December 30, 2009. He resided in Atwood and was born 82 years ago in The Netherlands, a son of the late John and Henrietta (Dekker) Runhart. As a founding member of the Atwood Fire Department, Arend held the position of Captain for most of his 20 years of service. He enjoyed spending time on small wood working projects and was very proud of his caretaking duties at the Elma Centre Cemetery, a position he held for many years until his retirement in 2006. Beloved husband of Neah (Abbott) Runhart whom he married in 1951. Loving father of Allan Runhart and friend Diane of Atwood, Louise and Ken Rea of Atwood, Daniel Runhart of Hensall, Kevin (Tree) and Mary Jane Runhart of Mitchell, Murray and Darlene Runhart of Atwood.     August 22, 1935 to April 19, 2014 Erlme Anne Fisher passed away quietly at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 19, 2014 at the age of 78. Erlme was a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church and the Women's Missionary Society. She taught school in Howick Township, Carrick Township, Maryborough, City of Brampton and at the Midwestern Regional Centre for many years. Erlm's stories and love of her very good friends will be missed. Erlme was the daughter of the late Clifford and Isobel (Dixon) Stewart. She was predeceased by her brother Alex in infancy, her brother Beverley and nephew Sean. At Erlm's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Atwood Presbyterian Church on Friday April 25, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Thompson officiating. Interment in Clifford Cemetery.
