of Cambridge, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 11, 2017 at the age of 57. Jim loved to tell stories about his family and friends. He was a real handyman always helping his family in his own way. Jim followed his father’s and brother’s footsteps becoming a licensed electrician. He enjoyed going on hunting and fishing trips in Northern Ontario. Jim’s favourite working environment was at Lulu’s Roadhouse. He enjoyed listening to the music and it was there that he met some of his music idols. Loving father of Jenna Quinn-McCourt of Banff, Alberta. Dear brother of Marlene McCourt, Robert McCourt (Bonnie), and Reta McCourt. Special uncle of Christina McCourt (Jason Hawkins), Megan Rubidge (Jason), John McCourt, and David McCourt (Stacey LaPlante). Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Margery (Hanna) McCourt. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood on Saturday November 25, 2017 from 10:00 till 10:45 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Colin Snyder officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton.
