    November 30, 1932 to May 23, 2014 Cor passed away with his family by his side at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton on Friday May 23, 2014. He was a long time resident of Atwood and was born 81 years ago in Abennes The Netherlands, son of the late Gerard Sr. and Marie (Schyff) Schalk. Cor and his family emmigrated to Canada in 1950, settling in Listowel. He owned and operated Schalk's Garage, Atwood from 1955 to 1985, worked at Atwood Pet Foods and Harvey Krotz Ford, drove bus for Kipfer's Garage Milverton and bulk truck for Murray Chapman. Dad was passionate about coaching the Atwood Huskies, cheering on the Habs and enjoyed time spent at the French River. Beloved husband of the late Joyce (Telfer) Schalk who predeceased him in 2009. Loving father of Debbie Schalk of Listowel, Joanne Schalk of Stratford, Jeff Schalk of Listowel and the special grandpa of Luke and Dylan. Dear brother of Willa Ament, Gerard and Edith Schalk all of Listowel.     September 23, 1922 to May 23, 2014 David Alexander Cleland, of Kitchener, passed away quietly with his son and daughter at his residence on Friday May 23, 2014 at the age of 91. David was a former member of the Rotary Club of Acton and the Toronto Masonic Lodge. He was involved with and sponsored stock car racing at Acton-Ospringe Speedway and played and sponsored Bush League Hockey in Acton. David also owned and operated Acton Autobody for several years. Beloved husband of the late Hanna (Jacklynn) Cleland who predeceased him in 2012. Loving father of Barry, Lorraine Cleland-Renaud and Blaine (deceased 1979). Cherished grandpa of Che and Helen and children Damien, Megan and Kali; Devin and Kim and daughter Adele; Jeff and Anita and children Alicia, Sara, Marcus and Jason; David and Mia and children Jem and Persephone; and special grandpa of Jen and Will. Dear brother of Mac and Jean Cleland and brother-in-law of Reglindis Cleland, Phyllis Jacklynn and Ester Prince. Uncle Dave has a special place in the hearts of many nieces, nephews and cousins and their families and will be missed by all. She volunteered at the Right to Life Second Hand Rose store in Walkerton and loved to attend the senior dances at the local legions.     August 22, 1935 to April 19, 2014 Erlme Anne Fisher passed away quietly at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 19, 2014 at the age of 78. Erlme was a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church and the Women's Missionary Society. She taught school in Howick Township, Carrick Township, Maryborough, City of Brampton and at the Midwestern Regional Centre for many years. Erlm's stories and love of her very good friends will be missed. Erlme was the daughter of the late Clifford and Isobel (Dixon) Stewart. She was predeceased by her brother Alex in infancy, her brother Beverley and nephew Sean. At Erlm's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Great grandmother of Joshua Whitton, Courtney Whitton, Noah Whitton, Jackson (Jax) Whitton and Kylie Whitton. Great great grandmother of Oliver Burnham. Pearl was a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church, a life member of the Presbyterian Womens Missionary Society, a charter and life member of the Bruce Chapter Order of the Eastern Star Kincardine and past Noble Grand of Huron Star Rebekah Lodge Ripley. Beloved wife of the late John Upper who predeceased her in 1991. Loving mother of John and Marilyn of Ottawa. Special grandma of Tracey Beaupre and her husband Todd, and Sheri Upper and her husband Neil Wiltshire. Pearl experienced much love from two great grandchildren, Claire and Cameron Beaupre. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews. Pearl was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her brothers George and his wife June Dahmer, Alfred and his wife Dorothy Dahmer and her sister Margaret and her husband Lloyd Sage.
