Robert Marcotte of Listowel passed away after a lengthly battle with cancer, at KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Wednesday October 21, 2015 at the age of 65. Rob was an avid outdoors man. He was a member of the Listowel Rifle and Revolver Club, enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, motorcycling, coaching and playing hockey and wood carving. Beloved partner of Faye Yost. Father of Erika Marcotte and fiancé David Schwarzer of Utopia. Brother of Donald Marcotte, Gloria Floristein LeClair, John Tower and his wife Jean, and Joan Dougall. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins and by Faye's family, Jenn and Curt Berfelz and their children Taynton and Brynn, Craig and Julianne Jantzi and their daughter Blakleigh and the extended Yost family. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Margaret (Towers) Marcotte, sister Margaret Gergely and husband Andy, brother-in-law Cliff Dougall. In keeping with Rob's wishes, cremation has taken place.
