Harry Metzloff

July 28, 1925 to February 7, 2018

of Listowel, formerly of Belwood, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at the age of 92. Harry enjoyed spending time at Belwood Lake with his family and fixing lawn mowers. He was a former bush pilot in Northern Ontario and worked for Forwell’s Sand and Gravel for over 25 years. Loving father of Tim (Deanne) and Dave (Terry). Grandpa of Robert, Darryl (Jennifer), Kevin (Melinda), Philip (Amanda), Alison, Heather and great-grandpa of Connor, Blake, Kyla, Desireh and Mikel. Survived by step-sister-in-law Elizabeth Schaefer. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Louise (Nickolas) Metzloff, son Richard, sister June Oestreich, brother-in-law Wayne Oestreich and step-brother Phil Schaefer. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Monday February 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ernie Naylor officiating. A private family interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener.
