Maxine Scholl

July 18, 1933- October 23, 2025

Maxine Scholl passed away peacefully with family by her side at Listowel Memorial Hospital on October 23, 2025 at the age of 92.

Beloved wife of the late Jack Scholl (1992). Loving mother of Mary Helen (Ken) Dale of Stratford, Kevin “Cubby” Scholl of Atwood, Tanya (Lloyd) Kuepfer of Britton and the late Ron Scholl. Cherished grandmother of Joe (Karen) Scholl, Jeff (Shannon) Scholl, Kristy (Jamie) Taylor, Josh Dale (Sonja), Shane (Mai) Dale, Steven (Chelsea) Scholl, Lisa (Darryl) Dewar, Jackson Kuepfer, Lucas Kuepfer and the late Johnathan Scholl. Great grandmother of 10 with one on the way.

Survived by her brother in law Fred Scholl and sister in law Doris Gordon.

Predeceased by her siblings, Marion, Helen, Marg, Frank, Joe, Bud and Don.

Maxine was a dedicated member of the Atwood Presbyterian Church.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Listowel Memorial Hospital Palliative care unit for their dedication and wonderful care over the last few days.

Visitation will take place at Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John St Atwood, On Wednesday October 29^th 2025 from 4-8 PM. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday October 30^th at the funeral home.
