Don Laidlaw

April 23, 1957- December 25, 2025

Passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on December 25^th 2025 at the age of 68.

Beloved husband of Linda Brown. Loving father of Anne (Shawn Lawson) Laidlaw, Gail Laidlaw, Jamie (Trudy) Laidlaw, William (Jenn) Brown, Cindy Jennings and Kenneth (Krista) Brown. Cherished grandfather of Emma, Lily, Oliver, Hunter, Carley, Hannah, Kaylie, Parker, Shaymus, Shaelynne, Nathan, Jolie, Joslin and River.

Survived by his mother Vivien (the late Kenneth) Laidlaw, his siblings Sandra (Ben) Wesselink, Jerry (Barb) Laidlaw, Rosemary Galloway (Jim Brubacher), Kevin (Anna) Laidlaw and sister in law Karen Laidlaw.  

Predeceased by his first wife Marie Laidlaw, his brothers Doug (Susan) Laidlaw and Robert Laidlaw and his brother in law Kenneth Rea.   

Donald was passionate about hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He dreamed of simple living. He was involved in his community from the Atwood Lions Club, organizing and bringing sled dog races to Atwood. His kindness knew no bounds, helping anyone who was in need and will be remembered forever.

Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday January 10^th  2026 from 1 PM -4 PM at Brenneman Funeral, 141 John St Atwood. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be left at www.brennemanfuneralhome.ca
