Maxine Adair – of Listowel, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday April 19, 2016 at the age of 79. Maxine was a former 4H instructor and a former Women’s Institute member. She enjoyed knitting, reading and making crafts. Beloved wife of Richard (Dick) Adair whom she married in 1953. Loving mother of Lauretta and Chris Raven, Linda Chrissley, Don and Patti Adair. Special grandma of Mark and Nicky, Kristy and Julian, Emily and friend Kyle, Mike and friend Leona, Jen and great grandma of Liam, Casey, Riley and Reese. Sister of Ken and Linda Baillie, Audrey Ludington, John Baillie, Barry and Cheryl Baillie. Fondly remembered by the extended Adair family, Lenore Moser and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Mark and Wilda (Baker) Baillie, her sister Donna and husband Jack Sanburn, brothers Bill and wife Alice, and Bob and brother-in-law Fred Ludington. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Friday April 22 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Elma Memorial Community Centre, 251 Main Street, Atwood on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
