Marion Flynn

December 17, 1936 to June 20, 2011

Marion Flynn, of Listowel, formerly of Atwood, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday June 20, 2011 at the age of 74. Marion was a member of St. Alban's and St. David's Anglican Church, Atwood. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Perth Chapter No.69 and an honorary member of the Order of the Eastern Star Peace Chapter Palmerston. Beloved wife of the late Keith Flynn who predeceased her in 2006. Loving mother of Doug and Joan Flynn of Kitchener and Diane Marshall of RR2 Gorrie. Special grandma of Melanie and John, Kendra, Jonathan, Douglas, Michael and great-grandma of Owen, Keegan, Chloe and Tyson. Dear sister of David Lupton, Jean Vannatter, Mary McWilliam and friend Bruce, Betty Konarski and friend Glen, and Jim Lupton all of Stratford and sister-in-law of Bev and Lloyd Elliott of Mitchell. Fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents Innes and Emma (White) Lupton, son-in-law Paul Marshall, brother Alex Lupton, sister Joyce Steinbach, brothers-in-law Austin Vannatter, John McWilliam, Gordon Konarski and sisters-in-law Margaret Lupton, Grace Lupton and Ruth Lupton. Marion's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Elma Memorial Community Centre, Atwood on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating. An Order of the Eastern Star service will be held on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
