Margaret Rock

June 14, 1943 to December 12, 2020

formerly of Route 2, Atwood, passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Saturday December 12, 2020 at the age of 77. Marg was a member of 2nd St. John’s Lutheran Church, Wartburg. She was a charter member of the former Atwood Lioness Club where she served as Past President and Treasurer, a Past President and member of Donegal Women’s Institute and a member of the Red Hat Society. Marg and Ray enjoyed spending many hours tending their gardens and woodworking. Beloved wife of the late Ray Rock who predeceased her in 2014. Loving mother of Matthew (Angie) Rock and Cheryl (Allan) Krotz. Cherished Grandmother of Rochelle Rock, Jasmine Rock, Nolan Krotz, Jenna (Steve) Morris and their children Olivia and Owen, Kelby (Brett) Smith and their children Harlee and Axton. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Vera Dietze, Barb Rock, Kathy Rock, brother-in-law Joel (Marilyn) Rock and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Clara (Ristau) Dietze, her brothers Robert, George (Margaret) and Earl and brothers-in-law John Rock and Mark Rock. A private family service will be held at 2nd St. John's Lutheran Church, Wartburg with Pastor Will Kraemer officiating. Burial in the adjoining church cemetery.
