Of Listowel formerly of Grey Township passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital with family by her side on Wednesday March 20, 2024 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Scott McLean (2003). Loving mother of Beverly (Dale) Rennick of Monkton, Marilyn (Rudy) Verstaeten of Listowel, Connie (Ray) Johnston of Monkton and Gwen (Larry) Schneider of Rodney. Cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She will be missed by her sisters in law Doris McLean, Jean Oppenhauser and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Earl Oppenhauser, Bernice (Fred) Schneider, Blanche (Ian) McLean and brothers in law Ron McLean and Bruce McLean. Lois was a member of Calvery United Church in Listowel and will be remembered for her knitting and crocheting. Lois was a member of North Perth Seniors and enjoyed day trips, playing cards and bowling.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Listowel Memorial Hospital for all the support and help during Lois’ final days.
