Lloyd Koch

July 23, 1937 to August 18, 2018

of Atwood, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday August 18, 2018 at the age of 81. Lloyd was the owner of Lloyd’s Small Engines for almost 50 years. He was the founding Fire Chief of the Atwood Fire Department and will be remembered for his love of model trains. Beloved husband of Millie (Fisher) Koch whom he married in 1968. Loving father of Carolyn Rock (Randy) and Mike Koch (Nancy). Special grandpa of Jeremy, Erinn and Nikita. Brother of Eleanor Holyhome (Ray) and Marjorie Eskrett. Brother-in-law of Ima Fisher, Dr. Lloyd and Evelyn Fisher, Shirley Fisher, Betty Fisher, Harold and Wilma Fisher, and Merelda and Larry Lantz. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Edna (Bender) Koch, brother Robert (Evelyn), brothers-in-law Jim Eskrett, Aaron, Carl and Ivan Fisher and sister-in-law Hilde Fisher. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Tuesday August 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Lloyd’s life will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 6174 Line 88, Gowanstown on Wednesday August 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating. Interment in St. James Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery (Lauderbach), Clifford.
