Jean Idell Evans of Ethel died peacefully at the Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, July 31, 2011 in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Doug. Loving mother of Cindy and her husband Paul Fallis of Atwood, Bonnie and her husband Steve Conners of Listowel and Roger and his wife Andrea of Burlington. Dear Nana of Evan, Allie, Abi, Riley, Will and Cole. She will be sadly missed by her mother in-law Grace Evans, brother and sister in-laws Bev and Herb Brenneman, Barb Consitt, Gary and Sharon Evans, Brian and Karin Evans, Pat and Barry Taylor, Jack Fish and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Mary Lou Fish and brother in-law Tom Consitt. Jean will be missed by the Ethel community where she was an active member in her church. She will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour, her love of music and her beautiful gardens. Friends may call at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood, on Thursday August 4th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Ethel United Church on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. Reverend Sandra Cable officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
