Helen Hanna

February 24, 1922 to April 4, 2011

Helen Hanna, formerly of Atwood, passed away unexpectedly at her residence in Maitland Terrace, Listowel on Monday April 4, 2011 at the age of 89. Helen was a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church and the Northern Women's Institute. Beloved wife of the late Elwood Hanna who predeceased her in 2001. Loving mother of Doug and Vickie of Gravenhurst, Ron and Brenda of Milverton, Pauline of Stratford, Diane and Jack Gabel of RR1 Listowel. Special grandma of Nicole and Keith and their children Hayden and Madison, Kim and Jason and their son Cohen, Michelle and Travis, Jill, Nadine, Matt and fiance Allie, Scott, Kelly. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Daryl Burke of Listowel and her cousin Bob and Isobel Burke of London. Predeceased by her parents Glenn and Alma (Forrest) Burke and her brother Bill. Helen's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood, on Friday April 8, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at the Atwood Presbyterian Church on Saturday April 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Thompson officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
