Elvera Deutschlander of Route 1 Monkton, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday October 4, 2011 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Michael Deutschlander who predeceased her in 1995. Loving mother of Mike and his wife Karen of Ingersoll. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren. Dear sister of Verna Fontaine of Kitchener, Edna McColl of Toronto, Eleanor Crawford of Goderich, Marjorie Calhoun of Kitchener, Leonora Kaufman of Goderich and sister-in-law of Merle Luckhardt of Stratford. Fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Frieda (Mogk) Luckhardt, her sister Eileen and her husband Jim Watts, brothers Bill and his wife Joan, Alvin and his wife Evelyn, John, Jim and his wife Brenda, and Paul, brothers-in-law John Fontaine, Ray McColl, Bill Crawford, Ed Calhoun and Ray Kaufman. Elvera's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Thursday October 6, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Monkton on Friday October 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Marvin Bublitz officiating. Interment in Redeemer Cemetery, Monkton.
