Passed away on June 9, 2018 at his residence in Stratford, ON, at the age of 62 years. Fondly remembered by brother Bob and his wife Judy Shiell of Atwood and sister Glenice and her husband Don McNeil of Stratford. Also remembered by nieces and nephews Rob Shiell (Sharon); Heather Johnston (Kent); Stacy Shiell; Trevor McNeil (Julie); Bradley McNeil (Maria) and by many great nieces and nephews and one great, great niece. Predeceased by his parents Alvin and Kathleen Shiell. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Wednesday June 13, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. where the funeral service to celebrate Douglas’ life will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marion Raymond officiating. Interment to follow in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
