Arend Bakker

July 14, 1912 to October 15, 2008

Arend Bakker, formerly of R.R. #1 Monkton, passed away at Brantford General Hospital on October 15, 2008. He resided at Hardy Terrace, R.R. #2 Brantford and was born 96 years ago in The Netherlands, a son of the late Jacob and Jantje (Moral) Bakker. Beloved husband of the late Maria (Rodermond) Bakker who predeceased him in 1993. Father of Jacob Bakker and Sandra Stoddart of Brantford, Jane and John Hoggart of Londesboro. Remembered by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and his brother John Bakker and his wife Els of Sarnia. As per Arend's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral home visitation. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
