William (Bill) Naylor

June 30, 1927 to October 19, 2017

of RR3 Monkton, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 19, 2017 at the age of 90, two days after his beloved wife Ruby passed away. Bill was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church Monkton where he served as Clerk of Session for over 20 years. He enjoyed quilting for missions and charities, woodworking, playing cards with friends from Monkton, had a keen interest in forestry and was always trying new farming techniques. Bill was also a former caretaker of North Logan Cemetery. Loving father of Ernie (Leslie), Beth Sorensen (Tom), Ken (Angela) and Jerry. Special grandpa of Josh, Daniel, Ben, Dana, Alexander and William. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Muriel Gottfried and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Ella (Dewar) Naylor and twin brothers Roy and Waldron in infancy. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church Monkton on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marc Fraser officiating. Interment in North Logan Cemetery.
