William (Bill) Lloyd Baillie passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday January 14, 2010. He farmed at RR 1 Monkton for over 50 years. Bill was born 77 years ago in Elma Township, a son of the late Mark and Wilda (Baker) Baillie. He was the owner of Wm. Baillie Silo Construction. Bill enjoyed spending time hunting and trapping. Beloved husband of the late Alice (Broughton) Baillie who predeceased him in 1991. Loving father of Marie and Rick VanderVeen of Seaforth, Brenda Keats of Listowel, Lillian and Garry Van Poucke of Seaforth, Darlene and Mike Trapnell of Egmondville, Pauline and Kevin Raycraft of RR2 Wroxeter, and father-in-law of Connie Baillie of RR1 Monkton. Special grandpa of Tammy, Craig, Melissa, Ashley, Kirk, Leslie, Candace, Christina, Jacqueline, Michelle, Pat, Trevor, Tyler, Trenton and their spouses and great-grandpa of Payden, Ben, Justice, Deagan, Kayden, Wade, Aleah, Bryce and Annabel. Dear brother of Ken and Linda of Listowel, Audrey and Fred Ludington of Atwood, Maxine and Richard Adair of Listowel, Bob of Kitchener, John of Monkton, and Barry and Cheryl of Monkton and brother-in-law of Jack Sanburn of Gorrie. Fondly remembered by the Broughton family and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his son Lloyd, son-in-law Alfred Keats, grandchildren Sabrina, Justin, Scott, Lindsey, brother James and sister Donna Sanburn. Bill's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home 141 John Street, Atwood, on Saturday January 16, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday January 17, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. George Russell officiating. Spring interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
