Bunny passed away suddenly at her residence in Listowel on Saturday March 14, 2009. She was formerly of Monkton and was born 80 years ago in St. Mary's. She was a member of Monkton United Church and a former member of the Monkton Women's Institute and the Monkton Star of Rebekah Lodge No. 345. Bunny was the beloved wife of the late Sam Acheson who predeceased her in 2001; loving mother of Bev and Wilma Acheson of Monkton, Denise Acheson of Teeswater, Lynda and Paul Schott of Ethel; special grandma of Kevin and Cathy, Michael, Tylor, Brandon, Justin and great-grandma of Jevin. She was the dear sister of Gladys and her husband Jack Harrison of Guelph, Millie Stanley of Sarnia and will be remembered by many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Clayton Hargrave, Loretta (Hawke) Hargrave Barnett and Tom Barnett, her sister Reta and her husband Tom Ash and brother-in-law Eric Stanley. Bunny's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home 141 John Street, Atwood, on Tuesday March 17, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Bunny's life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday March 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Alex McGilvery officiating. Spring interment will be in Donegal Cemetery.
