Maxine Stone of Listowel, passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Sunday October 25, 2015, five days short of her 79th birthday. Maxine was a member of Atwood United Church, Atwood U.C.W., Retired Women Teachers of Ontario and the Retired Teachers of Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Jack Stone who predeceased her in 1994. Loving mother of John and Janette, Jamie and Louanna. Special grandma of Shane and Amanda, Dawson, Nicholas and Natalie. Predeceased by her parents Harvey and Elva (Roger) Godbolt, her son Jeff and her sister Lenore and husband Glenn Gibson. A memorial service will be held at Atwood United Church on Thursday October 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
