GEERTSMA, Marjorie Marie (nee Duncan) - At Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, Marjorie of Brunner, in her 61st year. Beloved wife of Peter. Loving mother of Tara and her husband Michael Thornhill of Stratford and Tasha and her husband Mitch Poirier of Kitchener. Dear grandmother of Cody and Joseph Thornhill and Ashton Poirier. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Velma Carruthers, Doreen Seguin, Leone Duncan, Doris (David) Illman, Marlene (Hartley) McHarg, Joyce (Bob) Hansen and her brothers, Ross (Lois) Duncan and Brian Duncan. Also survived by her brother-in-law Ken O'Grady of Listowel and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Ewart and Hazel (nee Gibb) Duncan; sisters, Alma O'Grady; brothers, Glen and Colin; sister-in-law, Mildred Duncan and brother-in-law, Gilbert Seguin. Marjorie was an employee of Spinrite of Listowel. Friends may call at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood, on Friday, August 7, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, August 8 from 1 p.m. till time of funeral service in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
