Marion Krugel

August 26, 1940 to April 29, 2017

Marion Krugel of Listowel passed away surrounded by the love of her family at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 29, 2017 at the age of 76. Marion was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she had volunteered her time in various roles. She volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society, North Perth Hospice and the VON as a former leader of the exercise program in Listowel and Monkton. Marion enjoyed travelling, loved the outdoors, gardening, painting and photography. Fondly remembered by her siblings Rose Marie Wright (Burlington), Verna (Alfred) Young (Mitchell) and John Krugel (Listowel). Dearly missed by her special nephew Bill (Cheryl) Young, great nephew Lucas, great nieces Anita and Catharine Young all of Monkton and loving Aunt Marjorie Kaufman (Listowel). Also survived by her nieces Sandra (Vic) Farrow, Darlene Kosonic, Joanne Young, Yvonne Yarker, Carol Young and great nieces and nephews Donald, Julia, Stephon, Jeremy and Rebecca. Predeceased by her parents John and Dorothy (Illman) Krugel and brother-in-law Ron Wright. In keeping with Marion’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Listowel on Saturday May 6, 2017 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. followed by the memorial service to celebrate her life at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating. Entombment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
