Margaret McNeil, of Listowel, formerly of Atwood, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday March 1, 2012 at the age of 97. Margaret was a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Atwood Chapter of the Rebekah Lodge No. 343. Beloved wife of the late Jim McNeil who predeceased her in 1996. Dear sister of Beth Moffat of Norwood. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Laura (Turnbull) Love, her sisters Lyall Blatchford, Gladys Hines, Evelyn Lennox, Laurine Adams and her brother Ken Love. Visitation will be held at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Monday March 5, 2012 from 12 noon until time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Andrew Thompson officiating. Spring interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
