Lios Boyd-Mueller

May 9, 1931 to March 19, 2019

Lois Boyd-Mueller – of Monkton, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday March 19, 2019 at the age of 87. Known to her friends as “Chicken”, she enjoyed spending time at the cottage, quilting, baking and tending her small garden. Lois cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. Beloved wife of Bob Mueller whom she married in 1981. Loving mother of Bruce Boyd and Brian (Barney) Boyd. Special grandma of Nash and his children Koryne and Kayson; and Jacqueline. Dear sister of Margaret Little and Jean Buchanan and sister-in-law of Jean Boyd, Bill and Shirley Boyd, Carolyn (Toots) Yundt, Larry and Jane Boyd, Pat and Marie Boyd, and Ron Mueller. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, Rita McTavish and Cindy Good. Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Mabel (Diehl) Broughton, her first husband Jack Boyd, grand-daughter Nealie Boyd, brother George and wife Cora Broughton, brothers-in-law Ellis Little, Ray Buchanan, Jim Boyd, Ron Yundt and John Mueller. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Saturday March 23, 2019 from 9 – 10:45 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Hymers officiating. Spring interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
