Justin Dale Schmidt – of Route 1 Newton, passed away tragically as the result of a work place accident on Wednesday October 2, 2019 at the age of 19. Beloved son of Joshua and Elizabeth (Zehr) Schmidt. Dear brother of Darryn, Randy and Derick. Cherished grandson of Sam and Eva Zehr and Mahlon and Erma Schmidt. Special friend of Saralyn Streicher. Nephew of Marilyn and Herb, Joe and Judy, Ed and Delilah, Martha and Elwood, Mabel and Ivan, Jonathon and Shirley, Sarah, Sue and Ben, Jake and Dorothy, Fanny and Willy, Paul and Susan, Josephine and Michael, Jeremy and Mary Ann, Joanna and Eldon. Fondly remembered by his cousins and many friends. Predeceased by his uncles John and Gerald, aunt Susan and cousins Samuel and Angela. Family and friends will be received at his parent’s residence, 4644 Line 76, RR1 Newton on Saturday October 5 from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday October 6. The funeral service will be held at his parent’s residence on Monday October 7, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. with Bishop Laverne Kuepfer officiating. Interment in the 7th Line Amish Mennonite Cemetery, Mornington Township.
