Joe Yundt

January 10, 1940 to May 6, 2019

Joe Yundt – of Monkton, passed away peacefully with family by his side at Stratford General Hospital on Monday May 6, 2019 at the age of 79. Joe loved spending time at the cottage with family and watching the birds at his many feeders. In his retirement, he enjoyed farming and spending time with his many grandchildren and friends. Beloved husband of Dawn (Worth) Yundt. Loving father of Cory (Mel), Julie (Darryl), Joel (Pam), Janeen (Chris), Jay (Donna), and Jud (Mona). Special grandfather of Hanna, Jack, Perry, Jill, Tim, Dustin, Brayden, Brandi, Brennan, Barren, Baydon, Deric, Joseph and many great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Eldon (Norma) Yundt and Marlene (Dave) Young. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and special friend Gord Cupskey. Predeceased by his parents George and Edna (Debus) Yundt, his son Darcy, great-granddaughter Janaya, and brothers Lavern (Thelma), Jack (Joyce), and Newton Yundt. In keeping with Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to: Cystic Fibrosis Canada H.O.P.E.
