Esther Albrecht – passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Tuesday December 17, 2019, five days before her 73rd birthday. Esther enjoyed quilting, playing scrabble and loved spending time with her family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Cornelius Z. Albrecht who predeceased her in 2010. Loving mother of Edna and Andy Kuepfer, Darlene and Seranus Kuepfer, Ray and Lori Albrecht, Diane and David Streicher. Special grandma of Jerome and Velma, Joshua and Kathy, Julia and Levi, Joanna, Scott and Tracy, Stacey, Jessica, Shane, Delicia and Jeff, Deandra, Dawnelle and Michael and great-grandma of Jacob, Jonathon, Amanda, Joseph, Emily, Saralynn, Marybeth, Caleb, Wesley, Leah (predeceased) and Kody. Remembered by her brothers and sisters Catherine Streicher, Solomon and Peggy Jantzi, Eva Streicher, Gid and Mary Jantzi, Erma and Mahlon Schmidt and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Allan and Laureen Kuepfer, Magdalena Albrecht, Mary Albrecht, Levi Streicher, Sarah Albrecht, Elizabeth and John Gerber. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Samuel K. and Christena (Schwartz) Jantzi, her sister Laura Kuepfer, brothers-in-law Jake Streicher, David Streicher, Henry Albrecht, David Albrecht, Jonas Albrecht, Tobias Albrecht and sister-in-law Catherine Streicher. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Wednesday December 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday December 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Crossroads Life Church, 99 Young Street West, Harriston on Friday December 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Finochio officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
