Elva Coghlin

June 10, 1921 to June 2, 2010

Elva Coghlin passed away peacefully at her residence Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels on Wednesday June 2, 2010 at the age of 88. Elva was a life member of Atwood Women's Institute and a member of the Barn Dance Association. She was involved with Junior Farmers, was a 4H leader for many years leading 18 projects and enjoyed watching her daughter's square dancing competitions. Beloved wife of the late Cliff Coghlin who predeceased her in 1973. Loving mother of Sharon and Gary Evans of Cranbrook and Shirley Quipp of Tiverton. Special grandma of Dwayne and Melanie, Brent, Michael and Vicky, Kelly and Jim and great grandma of Jordan, Brittany, Morgan, Bradley, Darren and Justin. Fondly remembered by her nieces Bev and Pauline. Predeceased by her parents George and Lillian (Davidson) Hart, son-in-law Jim Quipp, brother Curnel and his wife Gladys Hart and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Elwood and Velma Coghlin. Elva's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood, on Saturday June 5, 2010 from 12 noon until time of the funeral service to celebrate Elva's life at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Cathrine Campbell officiating. Interment to follow in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
