of Fergus, passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Sunday May 29, 2022 at the age of 78. Eileen was a very independent caring loving mother, raising her children as a single mom. Family meant everything to her. Loving mother of Charles (Barb) Johnston, Bob (Karen) Johnston and Terry (Dee) Johnston. Special grandmother of Mike, Sam (Katelyn), Katelyn, Matt and great grandmother of Ella and Avery. Dear sister of Ethel Crocker. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Susan (Strickert) Young, a brother in infancy, brothers Gordon Young, Johnny Young and sister Hazel O’Neill (Ward). In keeping with Eileen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held in Donegal Cemetery, Donegal.
