Doris Ensinger of Durham, formerly of Atwood and Monkton passed away suddenly at South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Durham on April 24, 2023 at the age of 76.
Beloved wife of Daniel Ensinger in their 50th year of marriage.
Remembered by her siblings Albert (Sheila), Donna, Ella, Betty (the late Bill Baker and George Szucs). She will also be missed by her sisters in law and brothers in law Joanne Subject, Sandra Subject, Iola Subject, Linda Ensinger, Kathy (the late Warren) Carter, Bill (Sherry) Ensinger, Julie (Ted) Donkergoed, Barb (Ron) Listman and several nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by Andrea Carnegie and Cecil Johnson.
Predeceased by her children Sherry, Terry, Janet, and Daniel (1982), her parents Christian and Emma Subject, mother, and father-in-law Ernest and Elva Ensinger, siblings Bruce, Carl, John, Emmaline, Elaine, Ken, Mervin, Madeline and George.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday April 27, 2023 at Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John St Atwood from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenneman Funeral Home, on Friday April 28, 2023 at 11 AM. Rev. Ernie Naylor will be conducting services.
