Cornelius Kuepfer

July 27, 1935 to January 25, 2022

Cornelius Kuepfer of RR1 Newton, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday January 25, 2022 at the age of 86. Cornelius was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith. Beloved husband of Marie (Kuepfer) Kuepfer whom he married on October 22, 1959. Loving father of Nancy and Solomon, Mary, Susan and Mark, Martha and Andy, Nelson and Doris, Elias and Mary, Isaac and Ruth. Grandfather of 56 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Brother of Sam Kuepfer. Brother-in-law of Ruth Kuepfer, Christena Kuepfer, Elmina Kuepfer, Elmer and Leah Kuepfer, Esther Zehr, Laura and Jonas Kuepfer, Lloyd and Laura Kuepfer. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Christian W. and Mary (Kuepfer) Kuepfer, stillborn infant son, son Christie, stillborn daughter Rachel, son Solomon, one granddaughter, 2 great-grandchildren in infancy, brothers and sisters Esther and John Zehr, Israel and Esther Kuepfer, Jonathan and Lena Kuepfer, Catherine and John Jantzi, Lena and Amos Kuepfer, Solomon Kuepfer, Drusilla Kuepfer, Reuben Kuepfer, Isaac Kuepfer, Levi Kuepfer and brother-in-law Aaron Zehr. Visitation at the home of Andy Zehr, 4003 Line 73, RR1, Newton on Wednesday January 26 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday January 27, 2022. Due to Provincial Restrictions there will be a limited number of people allowed in the home. Masks are mandatory and social distancing must be respected. A private family funeral service will be held at 4003 Line 73 on Friday January 28, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. with Bishop Emmanuel Wagler officiating. Interment in 7th Line Amish Cemetery, Wellesley Township.
