Cornelis (Case) Johannes Tegenbosch, formerly of Route 2 Atwood, passed away peacefully at his residence in Royal Terrace, Palmerston on Tuesday November 7, 2023 at the age of 96. Case and his wife Nellie farmed for many years at Route 2 Atwood. Case was an avid dairy farmer his whole life. He was a member of St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Kinkora and was a fourth degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Predeceased by his wife Petronella (Nellie) Tegenbosch (2022). Loving father of Marilyn Whaley (Dennis Horton), Chris (Christine), Joanne (Wim) Vink. Dear Opa of Carolyn (Brad), Natalie, Jessica (Randy), Janine (Jim), Nick (Vera), Ian and great-Opa of Emily, Curtis, Florentina and William. Fondly remembered by family in Holland.
He was predeceased by his parents Andrianus and Hendrika Tegenbosch.
Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Thursday November 9 from 2 to 6 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 1025 Wallace Ave. N. Listowel on Friday November 10, 2023 from 10 am until the funeral mass. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Father Bester officiating. Interment in Donegal Cemetery.
