Betty Beaman passed away peacefully at Fordwich Village Nursing Home on January 1, 2026, at the age of 74.

Beloved wife of Peter Beaman, Betty will be lovingly remembered by her family. She was a devoted mother to Tiffany (Simon Marsh) Buchanan of Atwood and Dean (Valerie) Buchanan of Listowel, and a caring stepmother to David Beaman and Krista (Ian) Emmerson. She was a cherished grandmother to Parker, Bayden, Sarah, Emily, and Megan, and a loving step-grandmother to Noah, Lia, Jasmine, Abbey, Poppy, Jeremy, Lilly, and Hazel.

Betty is survived by her sister Brenda (Alfie) Vaughan and her brother Allan MacDonald, and was predeceased by her parents, George and Hilda MacDonald, and her sister-in-law Joan MacDonald. She is also fondly remembered by Thelma Will, longtime friend of her brother Allan.

A woman who truly loved the simple joys of life, Betty cherished time spent with family and friends and had a special fondness for the Christmas season, which she celebrated with enthusiasm and warmth. She was an active member of Lucknow United Church and its choir, finding joy in music and fellowship, and she also enjoyed being part of a ukulele group. Betty was a loyal supporter and could often be found cheering proudly from the sidelines as she watched her son Dean play baseball.
