Margaret Bartja – of Brussels, formerly of Monkton passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged, on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at the age of 88. Margaret was an elementary school teacher and enjoyed knitting, quilting and reading. Fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Dwight Stacey, sister-in-law Bernice Bartja, nieces and nephews David (Jennifer) Stacey, Jeff (Jean) Stacey, Heather (Tom) Nigh, Bruce (Tanya) Mann, Murray (Janet) Bartja, Kathy (Doug) Rock, and Susan (Jim) Kummer. Margaret was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents Issac and Lyall (Ellacott) Bartja, sister Audrey Stacey, twin sister Mary and her husband Jim Mann, and brother Lloyd Bartja. A private family service will be held. Spring interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
