Annabile Elena Tavascia (Lena)

Lena went to glory to meet her Lord and Saviour on Monday January 5, 2026 at Huronlea Home for the Aged in Brussels at the age of 87.

Predeceased by her brothers, Dominic and Mike. And her sisters Ann and Irma. Predeceased by Mike Ferringo, the love of her life. It has been said of Lena that she is "always waiting on someone, always doing something for someone." Lena loved life to the fullest; people, dogs and especially pizza. God answered Lena's prayers by helping her to learn to love all people while doing so she encountered peace and love for herself. Lena will be deeply missed by all who knew her; until we meet again.

Cremation has taken place per Lena's wishes and a private service will be held in the Spring of 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkview Church in Guelph or the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
